A recipe book that fits in your pocket. Type recipes in, or point the camera at a cookbook page and Ladle reads it for you. Find them again with partial search and tags, scale the servings, and keep a spice rack that shows what you have next to every ingredient. Works offline and keeps everything on your phone.
What it does
Type it or scan it
A clean editor for typing recipes in, or a camera scan that reads a cookbook page, recipe card or screenshot on your phone and sorts it into title, ingredients and steps. You check every line before it is saved.
Find it fast
Search matches part of a word across titles, ingredients and tags. Tag dropdowns for course, cuisine, diet, method and occasion narrow the list; remove a tag with one tap. Scale servings and every quantity follows.
The spice rack
List the herbs, spices and blends you own and mark each stocked, running low or out. Open any recipe and each ingredient shows whether you have it. Two hundred spices autocomplete as you type.

Needs Android 8.0 or newer. Bought once, it's yours on every phone signed into the same Google account.
Preview build
Try it before the Play listing is up
A direct download of the same build we submit to Google Play. Tap it on your Android phone, open the file, allow installs from your browser the first time, and install. To update later, download the new version and install it over the old one; your recipes, photos and spice rack stay.
Your phone will mention that the app comes from outside the Play Store. That's expected for a preview build.
